All of our production is based in Los Angeles, where we cut, sew, dye, and print the long way.

We work in small batches because staying close to the craft matters. Call us old school; we’ll take that as a compliment.

Meet The Fouder

Hey I'm Angela - stylist, photographer and avid vintage collector of all things from the 1980s.

I live in graphic tees - they are the staple of my wardrobe. And when I just couldn't find a decent tee anymore, I decided it was time to get to work and make what I couldn't find.

Thread Hippie is my labor of love. From the fabric, fit, design and ink - I want to do the graphic tee right for women like me.
